  • Chair

    Chris was appointed as Chair of the Racing Digital board in January 2021. He has over 35 years of experience as both an executive and non-executive Director in high technology companies including Blue Prism where he is deputy chairman, NCC group, Eckoh, SDL and Betfair, where he served as its first non-executive director. Chris has had horses in training for over 20 years and currently has a horse with Mark Johnston and a broodmare at Chasemore Farm that had her first foal last year.

    The team bring together many years of experience of racing administration and technical change management and aim to deliver an enhanced digital and data led experience for all our participants. We can’t do that alone – our style is to work collaboratively across the industry with our stakeholders, customers, and participants to understand their needs and create innovative digital solutions.
